The Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV) Retro Cummerbund kit, Gen II allows the soldier to replace the standard cummerbunds on their current IOTV. This kit was designed to work with the SWIPES\u2122 system in which the built-in cable management allows the operator to route the cabling inside the vest. The kit retains the ability to hold the operator\u2019s armor side plates and provides MOLLE on the outside for easy mounting capability. All connections to the IOTV remain the same, so there is no interruption to the lanyard system for quickly exiting the vest. The back panel of the kit serves as a mounting apparatus for the SWIPES\u2122 Power Hub. The retaining strap securely holds the SWIPES\u2122 Power Hub in place which allows the SWIPES\u2122 system connectors to pull apart when the operator has to utilize the lanyard system.<\/p>\n
